Slots in Duquesne

The Pittsburgh Penguins team signed an agreement Isle of Capris Casions Company that states it will construct a 290 million USD arena if they are would be arranged with the city’s single slots license. That future casino would be constructed in the Pittsburgh’s Uptown district, few blocks from the university’s campus. It would also be one piece of a billion USD expansion plan for the area in the region of Mellon Arena.

University President Mr. Dougherty states that studies show that 3% to 5% of people with trouble-free right of entry to gambling become obsessed. The university says it approves a new arena for the Penguins and believes whoever gets the casino license should be necessary to fund the arena. Duquesne officials just don't feel like the casino close to the Roman Catholic university and its 10,000 students.
